JAZZSARI BIOGRAPHY
A Nigerian-born Cross Rivers/Bayelsa indigene, prolific Jazz Singer, Vocal Coach, Compere, Songwriter, and Homemaker, JAZZSARI (Asari Otu-Adeoye) is a focused woman with a mandate to raise singers who are well versed in the art and act of singing. Her ability to captivate her audience with her 4 octave range tenor voice, and her rich blend of Jazz and soul, makes her performances soul lifting and unforgettable.
Since she started training singers in 1994, she has worked with a significant number of individuals groups, and choirs both within and outside her residential community in the capacity of trainer, consultant and mentor. These singers include, Ebiere Ohochukwu, Wari & Kaydee Numbere, Preye Omayuku (Late), Mfon Ekpo( Life Coach), Timi Dakolo, Samsong, Freke, The DNA twins (The Voice Nigeria) Stephanie (NYC) Winnie Music, Bola Edwards (Grandma Wura) @trishasings_ (INDIA) Tierra Dawn(USA); but to mention a few, and also trained over 500+ church choirs to her credits.
She has been privileged to share the stage with the major gospel acts from home and all over the world. Her single titled YOU DEY KAMPE was released in March 2020 and has gained global attention; while her past 13 track album DIFFERENT was released in 2003 and enjoyed more airplay in the USA than any other country. She has also performed in some major events such as, CHOGM (2003), Calabar Festival (2004), LNG Awards Nights (2005), Rhythm And Sax Classic And Jazz Nite (2011, 2013), Stage (2011), Bayelsa International Jazz Festival (2018) but to mention a few. She is currently engaged as Vocal coach on The Voice Nigeria, The Voice Africa, Nigerian Idols and is one of the coaches of The 200 City Choir.
Rising from her years of experience as a singer and trainer, she is frequently incorporated as judge over many competitive events in the country; most prominent is God's Children Great Talent (GCGT) Auditions at Abuja (2016).
Beyond her commitment to spiritual affairs she made her mark as a worthy ambassador in the secular world. Prior to her being the Church Administrator for House on the Rock Church, Enugu, she was a well-known compere in events. She has hosted events for organizations, which include, Galaxy Backbone, Digital Africa Conference and Exhibitions, and INC. She went on to be a Client Service Executive at a major events management company, Red Sapphire Ltd. Abuja, where she played many key roles in committees of major functions in the private and public sector.
When the spotlights are not on her, in her quiet moments she is an artist who loves to draw and paint landscapes, she cooks and is an ardent reader. She is an experienced and certified Editor and Proof Reader for innumerable Christian authors under a pseudonym.

She studied French at the University of Uyo, married and blessed with three beautiful and lovely daughters; they currently reside in Lagos.
